The Rainbow  age 7

Look at the rainbow up there now
never think about bad things
think about your future and your destiny

Watch as the rainbow spreads gently on the breeze
spreading butterflys
never make a mistake
make a wish
for the rainbow is here

This is Jessica's first poem - she wanted me to put this one on the page (sorry it's a bit rude!)

Terrible Toilets  age 6

I decided I needed a poo
so I went to the loo
I hummed as I sat on my bum

After I had finished my poo
I decided to say 'Boo'
Then I got told off by my Mum.

PARTY (age 8)

People laugh, people sing,
and all I know is it is time to party.
Everybody come and play,
We're going to have some fun tonight.
Oh Yeah
Party
It's time to Party.
Sing, Dance, it's time to party!

GROWING UP (age 8)

A seed turns into a plant,
A kitten turns into a cat,
A puppy turns into a dog,
A cignet turns into a swan,
A ducking turns into a duck,
All the animals grow up.

MIRACLES AND DREAMS (age 8)

One day I dreamed I walked across the sky,
above everything.
If only miracles could happen,
Everything would be perfect.

Then my dream came true.

If only miracles could happen,
Everything, yes everything would be perfect.

And me and you would always be together.

If miracles could happen,
I'd have everything,
The sun, The sky, The moon.

Just open up your eyes,
 and miracles will happen again.

SUNSET (age 8)

Up in the clouds,
Over the trees,
Is where you will find the sunset.

Up in the clouds,
Over the trees,
There's something waiting for us.

You and me always are together.
It's greater than life having you as a friend.

In the sunset
In the sunset
In the sunset

FLEA BAG

One day a cat
Sat on the mat
Playing tennis with a bat
Wearing a funny hat
Flea bag, flea bag, flea bag, flea bag
This is the poem of the silly cat.

ONE TO EIGHT (Jess age 9)

One person singing a song
One ladder that's very long
Two kittens eating figs
Two people watching pigs
Three dogs doing a wee
Three hamsters turning a key
Four guinea pigs at the door
Four aliens breaking the law
Five mad cats doing a jive
Five mad puppies doing high fives
Six carrots being sick
Six books saying 'Ick'
Seven reptiles going to heaven
Seven cheerleaders counting seven
Eight of everything that doesn't wait

PIG (Jacob age 5)

A pig, wearing a wig, on a Saturday morning,
Went to a big gig and danced a jig, while eating a fig
And found it very boring.
