JESSICA'S SHORT STORIES

IKAIA

by Jessica and Jacob

One day, on a big hill, there lived a young girl called Ikaia.

She lived with her mother and father.  Ikaia was 11 years old.

One night, when her mother and father went out to the pub, Ikaia heard the door bell ring.  She opened it and right in front of her was the Prince.

"What are you doing here?", she said.

"I have to talk to you, it's really important."

"Ok," said Ikaia.

"The Queen has been poisened by the King because he hates us and I have to escape!".

"I'll help", said Ikaia.

She hid the prince in the spare room.

The next morning, when she woke up, she ran downstairs for breakfast.  Then she realised she didn't know the Princes' name.

"My name is Jacob. Prince Jacob".

Then Ikaia had an idea.  That night she looked up at the stars.  They made a message.  It said  "Ikaia is brave".  So she went to the palace and saved the Queen and they never saw the King again.

The End.

(Jacob made up the name Ikaia, but it is actually Hawaiian for Isaiah and means God is Saviour. - amazing what you can learn on the internet. )
